It seems like so long ago when this website was just in its infancy and the campaign to produce a Stig Blomqvist replica Saab 99 Turbo was still only a search for a suitable vehicle to get started with.
How far have we come since then?
Well, we found not just one car, but two, and figured we may as well do the double and produce a Per Eklund replica as well.
Those cars have been stripped down to nothing, re-welded, re-painted and right now, the final fit-out is almost complete.
As I write this, we’re only around two weeks away from the start of the Midnight Sun Rally! It’s going to be fantastic to see these cars finally running around the forest trails in Sweden, hopefully posting some good times and getting plenty of interest along the way.
