It’s been a little while between postings here at the SUHRT, mainly because of all the news related to Saab Automobile in the last week. That news has been covered over at Saabs United.
But work continues on the rally car(s) regardless of what’s happening with Saab and this week Jörgen and Bo took delivery of the brand new roll cage that will be installed in our competition car.
The car has come a long way since we first received it and as you’ll see in the video, it’s now stripped, cleaned, and ready for the next steps in it’s construction.
Whilst the work on this car is all happening in Sweden, your writer is stuck on the other side of the world, in Australia. I’m pleased to say, however, that I should be in Sweden soon and I can’t wait to lay my eyes on this beast in person.
Oh, and meeting Jörgen and Bo will be good, too

Works for me. Safety first.
I like your work pit/storage area below the car…..what a great idea, very convenient! Is that a full basement, or did you excavate the area specifically for your workshop?
