At the Gistad Saab swap meet

by Swade on September 8, 2009

Jörgen visited Gistad last weekend where there was a massive annual swap meet for Saab parts.

We have a significant shopping list for our Saab 99 Turbo rebuild and I’m pleased to say it looks like Jörgen struck gold at this meet, sourcing a number of hard-to-find parts.

Right now, the car is being stripped and made ready for repainting (more on that shortly), but for now enjoy a few short videos from the swap meet and a look at the parts we managed to cross off our list!

A quick look at the US spec headlights that we’re looking for…..

And a final tally of the stuff Jörgen managed to pick up at the swap meet.

That’s a great day’s shopping, don’t you think?

Things are coming together nicely and this car is going to look absolutely brilliant when it’s all bolted back together in a few months from now.
