Bo and I are heading back to Stockholm from a great day in Örebro.
Maybe we are a little crazy, but we just bought Saab 99 #3!!! She looks quite sweet right now, but she’ll be looking quite mean in just a few months 
It was a great thing to have found a rust free 99 body and we will now transform this car into what was intended when we bought car #1. The identities will essentially be swapped. At the end, we will have a Turbo “without” sunroof, and no openable rear windows, but the lack of body repair required will be a bonus!
Örebro is the home town of Stig Blomqvist and we called in to say hello, speaking with him in his garage. We will have more on that later.
We also paid a visit to MapTun, an Örebro based SAAB tuning company. They were quite excited to hear about the project and it turned out that one of the mechanics at MapTun reads SaabsUnited every night!!!
