Tomorrow I will call Lasse Jönsson in Karlstad, a guy who knows everything about Porsches. We need to ask him about the 928 fuelhead K-Jetronic. He might know where to get some unusual Porsche parts.
Lasse generusly opened up his museum/private collection for the participants of the 2009 event when the rally passed through Karlstad. Lasse himself drove one of his Porches in the rally. The old man still knows how to drive that is for sure.
The rear brakes that they used on the rally 99’s are the same as Porsche 914-4. I have spotted a bunch of them outside Salt Lake City USA. I guess it’s just a matter of finding the right set.
